Pacifismus jako heuristický nástroj

The purpose of this lecture is to show that pacifism is not just a political doctrine that can be more or less rightly criticized for its utopianism.
Pacifism and its associated idea of non-violence open up a perspective from which to view systems of power that need physical, technological, legal and symbolic violence to exist. What we take for granted and take for granted because we have always existed in it, turns out to be a problem from the perspective of non-violence.

We want to elaborate the concept of non-violence that is necessary for this in a discussion with the principles of anarcho-pacifism, the ideas of Walter Benjamin and Judith Butler, and we will try to verify, at least in theory, whether a non-violent society is even conceivable.
The lecture will take place in room 215 (2nd floor of the PKC).
