Unity and multiplicity

The session will present a collective monography that is a result of the project Unity and multiplicity in contemporary thought. The book analyses new attempts to articulate unity in todays culture and philosophy as manifestations of a transition towards a new dominant cultural logic after postmodernism. 
At first, Michael Hauser will present his general theory of interregnum,  and than the authors will analyse the thought of A. Badiou, the theory of poeple by J. Ranciére, Chantal Mouffe, and E. Laclau, as well as the radical orthodoxy of J. Milbank.
