Urban, P. (ed.) Birth of phenomenology. Edmund Husserl in honour. Praha: Filosofia. 2010.
The book presents a set of studies dedicated to the philosophy of Edmund Husserl. Both historical and systematic contributions are included that explore the possibilities and limits of Husserl's phenomenology in dialogue with contemporary philosophical conceptions. The common denominator of individual contributions is the belief shared by their authors - among which are the leading representatives of the domestic and international philosophical scene (S. Rinofner-Kreidl, R. Rollinger, E. Kohák, I. Blecha, K. Novotný) - that even today, at the beginning of the 21st century, Husserl's thinking represents, an important inspirational source and a challenge to a serious philosophical confrontations. The external stimulus that gave rise to this volume was the international conference Geburt der Phänomenologie - Edmund Husserl zu Ehren, which took place on 11-12 January 2010 at the Austrian Cultural Forum in Prague.
